Program Zorbas Crete

Monday on Crete: diving for beginning and experienced divers. We organize for everybody who is interested a free diving demonstration in our swimming pool. Every Monday we also organize a “kondosoevli” night. This is a buffet with meat from our grill; you can see for yourself how we prepare it outside! This meat has to be grilled for at least 3 hours. You are also able to enjoy our various Greek salads at our buffet.

Tuesday on Crete: Jeep safari on Crete, an unforgettable day to the most beautiful places on Crete! We will leave from Zorbas around 09.30 AM. Around 11.00 AM we will stop for coffee at an old traditional Kafenion. We will then drive off-road through the unspoiled nature and mountains of Crete. Around 1.30 PM we will enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional Cretan mountain village. During the afternoon you are able to discover traditional old Cretan villages, beautiful nature, mountains on Crete, culture on Crete: discover Crete in one day.

An unforgettable day on Crete with lots of action, nature, culture and fun. We also organize jeep safari’s for two or three days. On request, we are also able to organize other tours: for example a quad safari.

Wednesday on Zorbas, Crete: our Greek meze night! On this night, you are able to enjoy the Greek kitchen. You will taste twelve different Greek dishes.  Our Greek meze buffet will be served in our garden, where you can also enjoy Greek music (rebertiko) and various Greek wines.

Thursday on Crete: Hiking in the area of Gournes and Skotino. A hiking tour to the cave of Skotino, we will leave from Zorbas at 10.30 AM, and return to Zorbas around 3.30 PM. This hiking tour is suitable for everybody. You are also able to do this tour by mountain bike. This is a fun tour, suitable for everybody. Friday on Crete: On Friday afternoon you are welcome to come with us to the mountains of Crete for traditional Greek cooking lessons. All cooking equipment is available in the mountains, including wine and music: cooking between the olive trees with olive oil! We will teach you to make various Greek dishes, which you will also be able to re-create at home! We also organize cooking workshops for a week on Crete: link.

It is also possible to enjoy a boat trip to Saint Georges’ bay. Food and drinks will be served on the boat. In the afternoon you are able to go fishing, snorkelling or visit a water park. It is also possible to experience a special sunset boat trip in the evening.

Friday night: our Zorbas music theme night. Dance from the sixties to the eighties, fun for everybody.

Saturday night on Zorbas, Crete: Our famous Zorbas BBQ night with a Greek buffet. This is a very popular night with Greek music and lots of fun! Festivities begin at 8.00 PM. You can enjoy our Greek buffet the whole night. Several times a year we organize live Greek music.

Diving on Crete: we offer you the chance to take a free first dive in our swimming pool on Zorbas Beach. If you enjoy it, you can book a diving course with us. For more experienced divers we offer a diving course including 8 different dives at several locations.
