This hiking trail has not yet been discovered by mass tourism. The route is unique; there are many small streams flowing during summer and winter. There are many turtles living in this area. It is wonderful to see how these turtles live in the clear blue water, and to see them sunbathing on some rocks sometimes. We will walk along the most beautiful spots of Crete. There are also possibilities to walk a shorter route (12 km). In the summer kids can go hiking too, these are hikes of 8 km.

Hike Tamariskos Canyon: During the hike at certain places in the gorge there is some intense climbing and clambering. The entire hike is only 6 kilometers long, but in many places we have to create our own path through the wilderness. The river that flows here regularly creates obstacles. We often have to climb over the water to the other side to get back on the narrow footpath. At various places we climb over small rocks and we have to walk close to the ground underneath the branches. Halfway through this gorge, we come across a stunning waterfall. This has a free fall of water of 30 meters. At the end of the canyon we reach a deserted beach.

Boot trip excursion Crete: Dia Island: the trip to Dia island takes the whole day. We will leave at 9 am from the harbor and we will sail to the Eastern tip of the island. Then we will sail along the south coast of Dia, with a stop in the Virgin Bay at the cave. From this point you cannot see Crete anymore. On a quiet day you can see many fish and birds. After this we will head for the South West Cape of Dia Island, where we will anchor at a deserted beach. We will stay here for a few hours, for barbecuing, swimming, snorkeling, hiking, fishing, etc. From here you can easily walk to the North side of Dia Island.
