The family apartments: Description of the Zorbas family residences, apartments in Gournes, Crete: Zorbas Beach Gournes consists of 20 apartments. We are small-scaled and offer a personal approach. The apartments all have two bedrooms, a living room and a bedroom. Some apartments are equipped for two persons, others for 3 to 4 people. We also offer opportunities to set up apartments for 5, 6, up to 12 people. Each apartment has a private veranda; most apartments have two verandas. Each room is comfortably furnished. The apartment has an open kitchen with: fridge, double stove, cooking utensils, glasses, cutlery, plates, kettle etc. The apartments are equipped with shower and toilet. In the bedroom there is a large built-in closet with sufficient space for storing clothes and luggage. Each room has a large ceiling fan. Our apartments are suitable for a family holiday in Crete, as well as for couples, the elderly and groups. We have one apartment which is suitable for disabled people. We can also offer you at Zorbas apartments the possibility of having Dutch TV. We do not have this option in each apartment, so if you would like to make use of this please let us know when you make your reservation. Internet: during your holiday you can make use of our WI-FI, but you must bring your own laptop. At the bar there is a public computer with Internet access.

Large luxury vacation homes for rent in Crete, Greece: Luxury holiday apartments for rent in Crete: we have 4 luxury vacation homes and apartments available in Crete. The accommodation is located in the town Gournes, at a stone's throw of beautiful sandy beaches. Gournes is a lovely Greek village without mass tourism. You will find the beach boulevard within walking distance. On the boulevard it's usually only busy on Saturday and Sunday, because that’s when the local Greek population from Heraklion themselves go to the beach; the taverns are crowded on those days.

Vacation homes for rent in Crete: We offer various types of luxury apartments in Crete. The surface area of the larger luxury holiday homes in Crete is 120m2. The living room has air conditioning and a big open kitchen, which is equipped with a large fridge, a four burner stove and an oven. There are 3 large bedrooms and two bathrooms, two toilets, two verandas, as well as a sub tropical garden of 1000m2 with many plants. There is plenty of storage space available. The living room interior consists of a table for 2 up to 12 people, a lovely large sofa, coffee table, TV (possibility for Dutch TV), fireplace (since the vacation homes are rented out both summer and winter), and two large doors to the porch outside.

The smaller luxury holiday homes in Crete have a surface area of 40m2. The living room interior includes a TV (possibility for Dutch TV), fireplace and open kitchen, and has a sliding door to the veranda. The bedroom has double and single beds. There is a shower and a toilet. Garden: around the property there is a large garden with lawn and sitting areas.

The apartments and holiday homes are ideal for a family holiday in Crete. Families and groups can enjoy tranquility and privacy here. The smaller homes are also very suitable for two people. The larger accommodation is equipped for 4 up to 8 people, but large groups can also rent two big accommodations for 16 to up to a maximum of 22 people. We can also arrange accommodation for group holidays in Crete; however, this is on special request. Possibilities: Our accommodations are for rent for minimum one weekend. We also offer options for weekly rental, a two week rental, monthly rentals or rental for longer periods of time (for example to spend the winter) in Crete. You can always email us for details and prices. The apartments are standard cleaned twice a week and supplied with fresh linens and towels. It is also possible to have your vacation home cleaned daily. Optionally, you can also have your clothes washed/laundered (return after 24 hours).

Villa Marina family apartments: We have in the area another 8 apartments: Villa Marina; at 100 meters distance from "Zorbas" you will find a cozy accommodation. In the back of your accommodation you have a private terrace, adjacent to the garden. Most rooms have sea views. This accommodation is ideal for relaxation. You can make use of all the facilities and excursions of Zorbas, and also for breakfast you can go to Zorbas. Here we also offer opportunities for half board in Crete. In these apartments we offer you the same opportunities as in "Zorbas", the only difference is that Villa Marina apartments in Gournes is slightly more hidden in the background. It is a peaceful accommodation, which is ideal for summer and winter holidays in Crete. Villa Marina Crete: For year-round holiday fun. In the summer months (children’s season, family apartments and stay) we also organize puzzle tours in the mountains, drop-off nights, treasure hunts, swimming contests, beach party with BBQ, water sports afternoon at the end of the Gournes Bay, etc.
