  ZORBAS BEACH: Zorbas Beach are cosy apartments surrounded by beautiful gardens, a swimming pool, terrace and a pool bar. The Zorbas Beach apartments are suitable for one person to six persons; we also offer you the possibility to stay at Zorbas Beach with a group of families or friends.

   Welfare: In Crete you must look after your skin. The sun shines for the whole day in the summer. The smearing and protection of your skin is necessary. Even earlier or later in the year you must be on your guard. It happens so often that someone spoils their holiday through getting sunburnt.

Time Difference: In Greece it is one hour later than in the Benelux and 2 hours than in the UK.

Crime in Crete: Crete has much lower crime, but also be on your guard here.  Because of this people often leave things behind in a car.

  Drinking Water: Gournes and Gouves are two places where you can drink from the tap, anyhow we still advise you to buy bottles.

Shopping: The shops on Crete are open (Monday to Friday) from 09.00 until 13.30 and also Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 17.00 until 20.30. But in all the tourist places it’s the whole day for 7 days per week.

Surfing: You can always make use of the surfboard that is available at Zorbas beach.
