 Program summer 2010 Zorbas Crete Greece: Saturday at Zorbas: the famous Zorbas barbeque including our Greek buffet. A popular and busy night with Greek music and lots of fun! The barbeque will start at 20.00 o'clock. A surprising night for everybody! You are able to make use of our barbeque and our Greek buffet all trough the night. Several nights during the summer we also offer you live Greek music.

Monday at Zorbas: every Monday we organize a "kondosoefli" night. This is a buffet with meat from the grill, you can have a look outside how we prepare and grill the meat! This meat has to grill for at least 3 hours. You can also enjoy delicious salads from the Greek kitchen.

   Thursday on Crete: jeepsafari on Crete, an unforgettable day through beautiful villages on Crete. We will leave from Zorbas at 09.30. At 11.00 we will stop for coffee at an old Greek kafenion (coffeehouse). We will drive off-road through the beautiful unspoiled nature of Crete. Around 13.30 we'll have lunch in a typical Cretan village. In the afternoon we continue our jeep safari off-road. You will explore during our jeep safari nice Cretan villages, nature on Crete, mountains on Crete, Cretan culture: you are able to explore Crete in one day.     Wednesday on Crete: our Greek meze night! During this evening you are able to taste twelve different dishes from the Greek kitchen. A relaxing and delicious evening!

Thursday on Crete: A boot trip to the Saint Georgos bay! On board sandwiches and snacks will be served. There are several possibilities to go fishing during the afternoon, if you don't like fishing, you can visit the Water Park, snorkel or enjoy a nice meal. The excursion also offers evening boat trips.

  Friday on Crete: we organize every other week on Friday a different hiking tour in Crete. We are your personal hiking guide! We can take you on hiking tours from 8 kilometer until 18 kilometer. A nice day to explore the nature and people of Crete.

Friday night on Zorbas: music theme night: from the sixties to the eighties, fun for everybody!


Diving on Crete: If you don't have any experience with diving, we offer you to take your first dive in the swimming pool at Zorbas! A diving master will provide you with all equipment; this diving session is for free! If you liked your dive at our swimming pool, you are able to book your diving course. For more experienced divers we offer you a diving course including eights dives at several different locations on Crete.

We are able to offer you all sort of activities: water parks with big glides, horse riding on Crete, rent a car on Crete, rent a scooter on Crete, motor tours on Crete, beaches, water sports, golf on Crete, cycling on Crete, hiking tours on Crete, diving on Crete: there are so many nice things to do on Crete.     March 2009 in Crete: Zorbas Beach open the doors for the 2009 summer season.

     April 2009 in Crete: It begins at once on the 19th April 2009 with the Greek Easter. (Much later than in North Europe).  For Easter we are organising various activities at Zorbas Beach.Certainly as Easter is so late and it’s summer there is much that we can organise. (Look for more information on our Website under Easter 2008). A quiet month when Crete slowly wakes from its winter sleep. The island is green and the weather is often tremendous. It’s nice that from being open in April many locals come to us.

   May 2009 in Crete: Furthermore every Saturday we are organising a Barbeque and Mezze evening.  From the second half of May the June program begins. May is the beginning of the real of summer in Crete.

  June 2009 in Crete: The finest summer month. The masses are not yet on holiday, you can still really enjoy the beautiful summer. Each week in June we organise a theme evening, music, 60, 70 or 80’s evenings, Greek nights, dancing with Zorbas, disco night, jeep safari etc.. Thus you are welcome!

    July and August 2009 in Crete: The real high season begins. Each Saturday, of course, is a barbeque and mezze evening. For the children we regularly organise good midday mystery tours, airbed races, car puzzle tours, jeep safari, etc. But for the evenings each week we organise a theme evening, music, 60,70 and 80’s evenings, Greek night, dancing with Zorbas and disco night, etc.  It works well in July and August if you do what you want, it is holiday time.

  September 2009 in crete: A pleasant month.  The weather is at its best. The sea and swimming bath are at their warmest. Our program is the same as for May and June.

    October 2009 in Crete: The month of the grape harvest. Lovely after the summer. Usually the whole month of October is wonderful, you can have a drop of rain, but broadly speaking wonderful, we have gone through a wonderful month. As the October weather is the same as 2009, then I won’t say no to it.

    November 2009 to March 2010: We are open summer and winter. (Look at our website for more information) In the winter it is also lovely weather on Crete, of course it rains regularly. But it’s not the same as in northern Europe. It is an ideal and cheap time to hire a car and go out on treks.  Furthermore in the surroundings of Gournes you can find various places to eat. We have regular groups that go on holiday in the winter.
