Snorkeling in Crete Greece: Every summer we organize fun snorkelling afternoons! It is always a fascinating experience to go snorkeling yourself! Crete offers an impressive underwater landscape where lots of different tropical fish live. Every week you can join us on our snorkelling excursion. We will  provide you with all the diving equipment you need: masks, flippers, snorkels, diving shoes, cameras, etc. We will take you to a beautiful reef on the beach of Gournes to teach you the basics of snorkelling. This fun excursion is suitable for adults and children. We provide diving shoes in child sizes as well.

We are able to offer you an exciting snorkel program! This is a full day excursion that offers you the possibility to explore the flora and fauna of the Cretan underwater world. This excursion is also suitable for children under 12 years of age; they can explore the underwater world from the surface!

This snorkeling excursion exists of an explanation about the equipment and techniques for snorkelling on Crete. You will also receive information about the flora and fauna underwater. You will go on two guided snorkel tours, one from the boat and one from the beach. You can use the snorkel equipment the whole day. We will also arrange transfer to our diving base. It is also possible to experience this excursion on a speedboat.

A day on our dive base on Crete begins with a 30 minutes explanation from our instructors about the snorkel equipment (flippers mask and snorkel). Off course you will receive a full explanation about safety rules, the underwater world and the technique to snorkel from the surface without problems. After this briefing follows the guided snorkel discover tour in the bay of Mononaftis. Each snorkel tour will take about 30 up to 45 minutes. It is also possible to explore the rest of the bay by yourself. Many of our guests will repeat what they have learned by themselves afterwards!

You will be surprised at how beautiful the underwater world on Crete is! You are able to see lava stone rocks, sea plants, sea stars, lots of different tropical fish, sea urchins, octopus and sea horses.

Diving test: after your snorkelling afternoon we offer you the possibility to take a free diving session with full diving equipment in our swimming pool. If you enjoy this first diving experience, we can arrange for you to learn how to go deep sea diving. This one-day diving course is an unforgettable experience.
