Travel around Crete Greece: 4-days Unknown Crete: In these 4 days we will visit West Crete. We visit many little villages, coastal towns, mountains and trails that you would not visit on your own. We stay in a luxuruous villa near the town of Chania.
Day 1: Departure at 6am from Zorbas towards western Crete. We drive past Rethymnon, and after that from Kalyves we enter the interior of Chania. Through a mountain pass we drive through Theriso and Meskala to Perivolia, where we spend the coming nights.
Day 2: Visit Akroteri, the peninsula, the monastery of Agia Triada and Stavros (the ‘Zorbas beach’). We spend the afternoon in Chania’s old town, where we have lunch. At the end of the day, we drive back to Perivolia.
Day 3: Early departure to Elafonisi so we can see it at leisure (given the crowds there later in the day). We visit the monastery of Chrysoskalitissa, Topolia, the columns of Polomidi and Kissamos.
Day 4: We leave Chania again today. We drive to Rethymnon and spend about 3 hours there. After that we drive back to Zorbas.

The weather forecast for the coming period on Zorbas Island and in Kokkini Hani looks great. During the day it will be pleasantly warm with temperatures around 29 to 31 degrees, and at night the temperature will drop to 21 to 23 degrees. The wind from the Aegean Sea provides a lovely cooling effect during the day.
